Sondu Vegan Center

Ownership/Management: Kenneth Odhiambo Ndonga

My farm, located in Sondu, Kenya, converted to veganic techniques in 2022. I now fertilize using plant materials like compost, mulch, and seaweed. On my 2-acre farm I grow veggies, fruits, whole grains, nuts, legumes and seeds to provide for my family with nutritious diets, and also run Sondu Vegan Market shop where I sell fresh produce to the local community.

Beyond farming veganically, I launched the Sondu Vegan Support Center Group in 2022 to help people transition to a plant based diet and grow their own nutritious food at home. The center includes a library, healthy cooking classes and veganic gardening support.

  • Advocate for animal rights in Kenya.
  • Help people to be non-violent towards the animals.
  • eat from the veganic diets.
  • partner with other veganic based programs and activities to promote the veganic community.
  • Reach out and educate other Kenyans on the importance of being veganic promoting awareness in schools and churches.
  • Organize veganic events all over Kenya.
  • Save as many animals as possible by advocating for their rights.
  • Teach humans the inhumanity of killing animals for food, clothing or any other cruel and unkind purpose.
  • Educate others that veganic diets can help to prevent many diseases.

Living a veganic way of life has helped me physically, emotionally and spiritually. It is joyful for me to help others embrace veganic lifestyle for its benefits to animals, good health and the environment.
We are always looking for financial support and volunteers, if you are interested please contact me.
