Wild Pines Farm & Sanctuary

Ownership/Management: Ben Hudson & Tiffany Bell

We are a plant-based farm converting conventionally managed hay fields into no-till veganic gardens and food forests. We are located in Union, South Carolina surrounded by large tracts of timber and agricultural land. Our area does not have much access to high quality local produce so we are trying to generate and meet demand for vegetables and flowers.

Our primary focus over the last two years has been on market gardening (flowers and vegetables) as well as seed contracts and expanding our gardens and food forests. We do not use any synthetic fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides and generate our own fertilizers through plant juice extracts and composting plant material from our farm. Our primary focus is on producing high quality produce sustainably and educating the public about plant-based regenerative agriculture.

We are also the founders of a vegan nonprofit animal rescue & sanctuary, Wild Pines Sanctuary. We rescue farm and domestic animals and educate the public about animal agriculture.
